End User Licence Agreement

This agreement governs your use of the RestroPod software — the Windows application and the Android application. By activating or using RestroPod, you agree to these terms.

1. What You're Getting

RestroPod grants you a licence to install and use the software on one registered device per your plan's device limit. This is a licence to use the software — you do not own it, and this agreement does not transfer any ownership to you.

2. Activation

The software requires activation with a valid licence key before use. During activation, your device is registered against your account using a unique device fingerprint (generated from your hardware on Windows, or from your device's system ID on Android).

3. Offline Use

RestroPod is built to work without an internet connection for day-to-day billing and operations. However, it still needs to confirm your licence periodically:

• If your device cannot reach our servers, RestroPod continues working normally for up to 5 days since your last successful check-in.
• Past that point, you will need to reconnect to the internet for the software to continue operating.
• Your device's system clock is checked for tampering — for example, deliberately setting your clock backward to avoid an expiry. If this is detected, the software will ask you to reconnect to the internet to resolve it.

4. What Happens If Your Licence Is Revoked or Unlinked

If your licence is revoked, or your device is unlinked from your account (for example, following a refund, or if you remove the device from your dashboard), the next time your device connects to the internet:

• Your local licence file is deleted
• All devices and active sessions on that installation (waiter, kitchen, manager, etc.) are logged out immediately
• The software returns to its unactivated state, requiring reactivation with a valid licence

5. Security Monitoring

RestroPod includes measures to detect tampering with the software itself, such as modification of the installed application files. Detected tampering is logged. This exists to protect the integrity of the licensing system and to help us investigate misuse if it occurs.

6. What You Cannot Do

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile the RestroPod software
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with licence activation, validation, or tamper-detection
• Use a licence on more devices than your plan allows
• Transfer, resell, or share your licence key with anyone outside your own business
• Redistribute the RestroPod software

7. Software Updates

We may release updates to RestroPod. Some updates may be marked mandatory (for example, to fix a security issue), and the software may require you to install them before continuing to use it.

8. No Warranty Beyond What's Legally Required

Except where Indian law requires otherwise, RestroPod is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the software will be free of errors or that it will meet every requirement of your specific business.

9. Ending This Agreement

This licence ends automatically if you violate Section 6, or if your subscription is not renewed (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Service Level Terms for what happens around expiry).

You may stop using RestroPod at any time by simply not renewing your subscription.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
