A day in your shop
Scan, weigh, bill
Scan a barcode or search the item. For loose items, type the weight, like 1.125 kg, and the price works out by itself. Print the bill or send it to the customer’s phone.
Give on udhaar, get it back
Add the sale to the customer’s udhaar. See the balance on every bill. Take part payments later. The e-bill can show a UPI QR for the amount due.
Stock that tells you what to do
See what is running low. Track batches and expiry dates for medicines and food. Record serial numbers and warranty for electronics.
The bill on the customer’s phone
Send the bill by WhatsApp, SMS or email using your own provider account. The customer opens a link that works for 48 hours. Customers can opt out.

How offline works
- Every bill and every stock entry is saved on your computer first. You do not need internet to bill.
- The POS checks your license online from time to time. It must connect at least once every 5 days.
- If your plan ends, there is a short grace period. Your data stays on your computer.

What is RestroPod Store POS?

Which shops is it for?
Kirana and grocery, pharmacy, electronics and mobile, clothing and footwear, hardware, optical and rental shops, and small manufacturers. Items sold by weight, expiry dates, serial numbers and warranty are all supported.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Billing works offline because your data is saved on your own computer. The POS needs internet once every 5 days to verify the license.
How do I buy and start?
Register, choose a plan and pay online. Then download the Windows installer from your dashboard and activate it with your license. The Android app is coming soon.
Is there a free trial?
No. If you want to try it first, choose the Demo plan on this page.
Does it support GST bills?
Yes. It makes GST bills with CGST, SGST and IGST, HSN codes and the buyer’s GSTIN. Shops under the Composition scheme get a Bill of Supply with no tax lines.
Can I sell loose items by weight?
Yes. Type the weight, like 1.125 kg, and the bill works out the price. A weighing scale cannot be connected yet.
Can I give goods on udhaar?
Yes. Add a sale to the customer’s udhaar, see the balance due on every bill and take part payments later. The e-bill can show a UPI QR for the amount due when you have set your UPI ID.
Can I send bills on WhatsApp, SMS or email?
Yes, with your own provider account. Email works with your own mail server. SMS works with MSG91, Twilio, Fast2SMS or Gupshup. WhatsApp works with Twilio, Interakt, MSG91 or Gupshup. The customer opens a link that works for 48 hours, and customers can opt out.
Can I track batches, expiry and serial numbers?
Yes. Batches and expiry dates suit medicines and food. Serial numbers and warranty suit electronics. The app alerts you before stock expires.
Can I track cheques?
Yes. Record cheques you receive and cheques you give, including post-dated cheques, and see which ones the bank has credited.
Which printers work?
Thermal receipt printers, 58 mm and 80 mm, over the network or Bluetooth.
Can I use more than one computer?
Yes, on plans that allow more devices. Other devices join over the same Wi-Fi by scanning a QR code and work as cashier or manager.
Where is my data kept?
On your own computer, in an encrypted database. The POS makes automatic backups, and you can back up and restore with one click. If your plan has Cloud Reporting, daily sales summaries are also sent to your online dashboard.
What happens when my plan ends?
There is a short grace period after the end date. After that the POS locks until you renew. Your data stays on your computer.
Is RestroPod the same as RestroPro?
RestroPod is a separate product made by DigiIndian. It is not related to other products with similar names.
