What it does
- Cheques received and cheques given
- Post-dated cheques with their date
- Alerts for cheques to deposit and post-dated cheques due soon
- Status: in hand, deposited, credited, bounced
- A cheque register report
- A photo can be kept with the cheque
How it works
-
1
Record the cheque
Enter the number, bank, date and amount. Add a photo if you like.
-
2
Deposit it
Mark it deposited when you take it to the bank.
-
3
Mark it credited or bounced
When the bank credits it, the payment counts. If it bounces, the customer still owes the money.

Questions about Cheque tracking
When does a received cheque count as paid?
When the bank credits it. Until then the customer still owes the money.
What happens when a cheque bounces?
A received cheque that bounces is not counted as paid, so the customer still owes the amount.
Can I track cheques I give to suppliers?
Yes. Cheques you give are recorded against the supplier payment or expense they paid.
